Dr. Peter Brusco DMD attended the prestigious Sophie B. Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York for his undergraduate program. He then graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1980, a product of the Accelerated Program (8 year program done in 6 years). He completed his General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey in 1981.
In 1999 he flew to Belize in Central America to treat patients in a jungle clinic as a missionary dentist.
He was an attending dentist on faculty at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey, where he treated staff and taught dental residents for 5 years.
In the summer of 2004, Dr. Brusco counseled, trained and assisted inmates at Bayamon 501 Prison in Puerto Rico as the final step in an intense 4 week training course at MGE Leadership School.
Dr. Brusco is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Brusco has completed and graduated from the Power Program at MGE Corp., in Practice Management and has completed an intensive program in Leadership. He has his staff trained with MGE as well. Staff in this practice are required to take courses which help them serve our patients in the most efficient, caring and friendly manner possible.
Currently Dr. Peter Brusco is completing an extensive training with the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, FL.
His office was voted the Best Dentist of North Jersey in the Suburban Trends Newspaper.
Dr. Peter Brusco DMD also believes in community service. In 1999 he flew to Belize to work with a group providing dental care in the jungle. In the summer of 2004 he counseled and taught inmates at the Bayamon 501 Prison in Puerto Rico. He did this with a group working for rehabilitative programs in prisons. He also sponsors the New Jersey Jaguars baseball team, who has won several national championships.
